Various zoom and pan tools are found on the top right side of the window. When pointing the mouse over the tool, a description of the tool function is displayed.

The buttons on the top row are Zoom and Pan. The buttons on the bottom row are Zoom to Selection, Zoom to Project and Zoom to Drawing.
- To zoom click the Zoom button. Then move the mouse pointer over the takeoff area and click the left (Zoom in) or right (Zoom out) mouse button. An alternate method is to hold the Shift key down and left click the mouse to zoom in or right click the mouse to zoom out.
- To pan click on the Pan button. Move the mouse pointer to the takeoff area click and drag the mouse. Panning only works when the drawing is zoomed in. Panning may also be done by holding the Ctrl key or the mouse wheel button down while dragging the mouse.
- Zoom to a selection requires you to select the tool, then drag a selection box over the area you want enlarged.
- Clicking the Zoom to Project button will fit the entire project in the takeoff area. This button will not work until the project boundaries have been defined.
- Clicking Zoom to Drawing will fit the entire drawing in the takeoff area.
