Copy Region as a Topsoil Strip, Topsoil Respread or Area

Boundaries can be copied as Topsoil Strip or Respread areas or Area Elevations. Topsoil Strip or Respread Regions can be copied as Area Elevations. Press Select Object and position the selection box over a corner of the boundary to be copied. Click the left mouse button to select the boundary. Then press the right mouse button to display the takeoff popup menu.

Select Copy as Topsoil Strip, Copy as Topsoil Re spread or Copy as Area and the copy region dialog box is displayed.

Set the line color, line width, fill style and depth of the area to be stripped/re spread. For Area elevations specify the type and elevation. Include an area name and description if desired. When done filling out the Copy Region dialog, click the OK button.

Areas copied as Surface types have no layers. The Area can be selected and modified to change the type, elevations and layers.
