Takeoff Area

This area of the Takeoff Tab is used to input elevations into the project file. It displays the project drawing with the selected takeoff objects overlaid. While in this area: Right Mouse Click displa

Takeoff Area

This area of the Takeoff Tab is used to input elevations into the project file. It displays the project drawing with the selected takeoff objects overlaid. While in this area:

    • Right Mouse Click displays the Takeoff Popup Menu.
    • Shift - Left Mouse Click zooms in on the drawing.
    • Shift - Right Mouse Click zooms out on the drawing.
    • Mouse Wheel Up zooms in on the drawing.
    • Mouse Wheel Down zooms out on the drawing.
    • Ctrl - Right Mouse drag pans the drawing.
    • The Pan Window and Magnifier Window can also be used to pan and zoom the drawing.
    • If Start Takeoff is pressed, Mouse Click takes off a point.
    • If Select Object is pressed, Mouse Click selects an object.

The drawing can also be panned using the scroll bars, if enabled.

Note: When zooming, the point under the cursor moves to the center of the display window.
