This option applies to Snap to Entity Point and Select Entity when working with CAD files. Some CAD files have elevations encoded into the Z coordinate of the points. When this option is checked, these elevations will be used when digitizing. Show Properties/Elevations Dialog and Show Area Elevation Dialog should be set when this option is selected to allow verification of the elevations.
