Align the Drawing

If the project is on multiple drawings, the drawings have to be aligned so the takeoffs overlay correctly. The top drawing (base drawing) in the drawing list must be aligned first. the other drawings are then aligned to it.

Click on the Align Drawing button and use the mouse to digitize two points on the drawing that are common to all the drawings in the project. The points should be as far apart as possible and preferably not on a horizontal or vertical line.

Note: Aligning drawings is required when Opening multiple pages or files and is not necessary for single drawings.
