Rectangle

The rectangle command is available on the takeoff popup menu or the takeoff menu when taking off boundaries, topsoil strip and re spread regions, and areas. It is only available at the start of a new object.

Creating a rectangle requires entering three corners of the rectangle. The corners may be entered in a clockwise or counterclockwise order. The fourth corner will be generated from the first three.

A prompt for the point being entered will be shown at the lower left of the window in the status bar.

Note: the figure actually generated is a parallelogram. The corners do not have to be 90 degrees.
