Snap to Entity Point

Enables and disables entity snapping for CAD and PDF files. Entity snapping allows the mouse pointer to move to (snap) a point on a line, area, dimension, etc on the drawing. As the takeoff cursor is

Enables and disables entity snapping for CAD and PDF files. Entity snapping allows the mouse pointer to move to (snap) a point on a line, area, dimension, etc on the drawing. As the takeoff cursor is moved around the drawing, the snap location indicator snap cursor moves to the closest point on a drawing entity.

When the snap indicator is on the desired point, left click to digitize it. The coordinates of the snap indicator are input into SiteWorx/OS.

With CAD drawings, if Use Z axis for Elevation is selected , the Z axis value will be used for the elevation.

Enabling Snap to Entity Point disables Select Entity and Easy Trace.

Note: In previous versions of SiteWorx/OS this feature was called Snap to Object.
