Takeoff Menu Shortcuts

This option allows customization of the shortcut keys used to activate the commands on the takeoff menu . Selecting the option displays a list of the menu commands and associated shortcut keys in the

This option allows customization of the shortcut keys used to activate the commands on the takeoff menu. Selecting the option displays a list of the menu commands and associated shortcut keys in the Shortcut Editor dialog.

Shortcut Editor

Select an entry in the shortcut column and double click or press the change button. This will display the Shortcut Change dialog.

Shortcut Change

Press the desired key combination and the shortcut will change. Press OK to accept the changed shortcut, or Cancel to discard the change.

There are several reserved Shortcuts that can not be used:

F1 - help

Alt+F4 - close program

Ctrl+A - select all

Ctrl+C - copy

Ctrl+V - paste

Ctrl+X - cut

Ctrl+S - save file

The following is a list of the keyboard shortcuts installed with SiteWorx/OS:

    • Delete last point - Alt+BkSp
    • New object - Alt+Enter
    • Contour Line - F5
    • Point Elevation - F6
    • Area Elevation - F7
    • Include - F9
    • Exclude - Shift+F9
    • Proposed - F10
    • Existing - Shift+F10
    • Increase Elevation - F11
    • Decrease Elevation - F12
    • Start Takeoff - F8
    • Stop Takeoff - Shift+F8
    • New Object - Alt+Enter
    • Copy Area - Alt+F7
    • Arc - Alt+A
    • Circle (Center and Radius) - Alt+C
    • Circle (3 Points) - Alt+3
    • Rectangle - Alt+R
