Opening Dwg Files

Dwg files can contain references to external files called XRefs. If the XRef is in the same folder as the file being opened or a folder containing a previously found reference, SiteWorx/OS will open i

Dwg files can contain references to external files called XRefs. If the XRef is in the same folder as the file being opened or a folder containing a previously found reference, SiteWorx/OS will open it. If the file cannot be found, a dialog will be displayed

providing choices on how to handle the missing file.

    • Btn Browse Pressing Browse displays a modified version of the Open Drawing dialog. (See below) The OK button is initially disabled. When the missing file is located, the OK button will be enabled. Press it and the dialog will close and the reference file will be loaded. If the file cannot be located, press the Cancel button and then choose either Ignore or Ignore All.
    • Btn Ignore Pressing the Ignore button tells SiteWorx/OS to ignore this missing file.
    • Btn Ignore All Pressing the Ignore All button tells SiteWorx/OS to ignore all missing references.
