Vertigraph, Inc. (“Vertigraph,” “we,” “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy describes the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, is processed. By using vertigraph.com or any Vertigraph software, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Information we collect

We collect information in three general categories:

• Information you provide directly. When you create an account, request a trial, purchase software, contact our support team, or fill out a form, we collect the information you submit (name, company, email address, phone number, billing details, and the contents of any messages).
• Information collected automatically. When you visit vertigraph.com, our servers log standard request data: domain, IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages requested, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences and to measure traffic and engagement.
• Information from licensed software. Our licensed software periodically connects to Vertigraph servers to validate licenses and check for updates. These connections transmit a license serial, a machine identifier, and the software version, which we use solely to authorize use, prevent piracy, and deliver software updates.

How we use your information

We explicitly ask when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. The information we collect is used to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve our website and software products.
• Process purchases, fulfill orders, deliver license serials, and send transactional notifications such as order receipts and renewal reminders.

• Validate software licenses, authorize concurrent installations, and detect unauthorized use.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate our business. These providers receive only the information they need to perform a specific function on our behalf and are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations. They include:

• Cloud hosting and database (Netlify, Supabase) for our website and customer portal.
• Email delivery for transactional and marketing email.

Server log data is retained for a shorter rolling window. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@vertigraph.com.

Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Internet transmission is never completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Vertigraph software is intended for commercial construction professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-party links

Vertigraph.com may contain links to third-party websites (including, for example, our YouTube channel, our LinkedIn page, payment processor pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before submitting personal data.

Your rights
