Takeoff Object Properties

Various attributes pertaining to the selected object are shown on the right hand side of the Takeoff Tab . The properties displayed change according to the type of Takeoff Object : Project Boundary To

Various attributes pertaining to the selected object are shown on the right hand side of the Takeoff Tab. The properties displayed change according to the type of Takeoff Object:

    • Project Boundary
    • Topsoil Strip or Re spread
    • Contour Line
    • Point Elevation
    • Area Elevation
    • Trench
    • Design Lines
    • Boring Logs
    • Cross Section Line
    • Length Measurement

The following buttons are used when editing an object:

Property Buttons

From left to right they are:

    • Cancel Changes
    • Accept Changes
    • Delete Selected Object
    • Edit Selected Object
    • Change All Styles

For items that are measured as an area (i.e. project boundaries, topsoil strip and topsoil re spread and area elevation) the properties dialog will contain a corners tab that contains X, Y coordinates. For area elevations each corner will also show an elevation. If you want to see the elevation of a particular corner, click on the corners tab and click the Select command and move the square mouse pointer over the corner and the corner noted on the corner tab will change accordingly.
