This tab displays site cross sections (existing and proposed elevation lines) along the grid lines, user defined cross section lines, and trenches. The Selection Toolbar controls the choice of the cross section(s) displayed.
Grid:
Two cross esctions are displayed. At the top is the horizontal cross section. Below that is the vertical cross section. The black lines indicate the location of the northwest grid corner. The sections are drawn as if the viewer was at the southeast corner of a grid square looking at the northwest corner of the square. The selected grid lines are shown in boundary/grid line display at the left.

Clicking in the project boundary/grid line display will select the closest northwest corner.
Line/Trench:

One cross secton is displayed. The line or trench to display is selected from the list at the upper left of the display. The selected line or trench is shown on the boundary/grid line display at the bottom left. The points of the line or trench are numbered and shown on the cross section. Then end point numbers are shown on the boundary/grid line display.
There are four toolbars at the top of the tab.
Selection

Used to slect the type of cross section displayed.
Location

The up/down buttons can be used to select the grid lines. The northwest corner being displayed is shown on the toolbar. Not available if Lines or Trenches selected.
Topsoil

The topsoil buttons control the elevations displayed.
Menus

The colors of the existing and proposed elevation lines are taken from the corresponding contour line colors.
