This command is used to find all points located within a Surface Area Elevation. If a proposed surface area does not appear flat like a plane, then point elevations may have been digitized within the area. To find points in a surface area, perform the following:
1) Select Area Elevation from the Takeoff Tab.
2) You must have the Display set to "Takeoff"
3) Select Existing or Proposed.
4) Select the Area by selecting any point along the perimeter using the square select mouse pointer
5) Change the takeoff to Point Elevation at the Takeoff Tab.
6) Click on the Checking|Points in Area menu command to identify the points found within a surface area.
