How do I change the elevations for surface area?

To change all the corner elevations of a surface area to new value, enter the value in the elevation field on the takeoff window. Select the area to be changed using the select object button. Right click the mouse and select Change Area Elevation.
To change one or more corner elevations of a surface area to new value, select the area to be changed using the select object button. Right click the mouse and select Edit Selected Object. Select the point to be changed by placing the cursor
over the point. Right click and select Change Elevation. A dialog will appear, Enter the new elevation and click OK. When finished changing the elevations, right click and select Finish.
Elevatons for a single point can also be changed by selecting the point on the perimeter of the area using the select object button. The elevation for that point will be displayed at the Corners tab in the Area Properties on right hand side of the window. If the properties are not visible, check Takeoff Properties under the View menu. If the elevation value is not visible, the properties and corners display may be widened by dragging the separator bar between the properties and the takeoff area. The separator bar is where the mouse turns into a double headed arrow.
After the elevation is found, click on that cell in the grid and type in the correct elevation. Press the black check mark to save the changes.
