Scale Dialog

First, select the units for the drawing - English or Metric. If English, next select architectural or engineering. There are three methods to set the scale: Select a scale from the drop down list box

Scale Dialog

First, select the units for the drawing - English or Metric. If English, next select architectural or engineering.

There are three methods to set the scale:

    • Select a scale from the drop down list box Select Scale Combo
    • Calculate the scale from a dimension on the drawing btn Digitize Scale
    • digitize the beginning and ending points of a line with a known distance,
    • enter the distance between the points
    • Manually enter the factor (not recommended) btn Manual Scale

IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to change scale when using multiple drawings. The Alignment process takes care of any scale differences between drawings. Changing scale may give unexpected results.
