Strata Data Entry

There are three numbers associated with each log strata: Top Elevation Bottom Elevation Depth below Surface Only one of the three numbers must be entered for each strata. Top Elevation is entered auto

There are three numbers associated with each log strata:

    • Top Elevation
    • Bottom Elevation
    • Depth below Surface

Boring Log Numbers

Only one of the three numbers must be entered for each strata.

Top Elevation is entered automatically. For the top strata, it is the surface elevation of the boring log. For other strata, it is the bottom elevation of the strata above it.

The user has the choice of entering Bottom Elevation or Depth below Surface. If Bottom Elevation is entered, Depth below Surface will be calculated automatically. If Depth below Surface is entered, Bottom Elevation will be calculated.
