Boring Log Tab

The top of the dialog displays the properties of the boring log: Boring ID Surface Elevation Color Line Width Point Style Notes Cancel and Save buttons Below that is a list of the strata for the log.

Boring Log Dialog

The top of the dialog displays the properties of the boring log:

    • Boring ID
    • Surface Elevation
    • Color
    • Line Width
    • Point Style
    • Notes
    • Cancel and Save buttons

Below that is a list of the strata for the log. To enter a strata:

    • Create a new strata record by pressing the + button or by pressing the down arrow key when on the last strata.
    • Enter the soil type.
    • The Top Elevation will be calculated and displayed. Enter either the Bottom Elevation, or the Depth below Surface.
    • Save the new record by hitting the small check mark button, or moving the cursor to a different strata.
