Overcut

Set Overcut to a positive number to enlarge the cut for an area. The dimension is in feet or meters. The drawing below illustrates an Overcut. The Overcut surrounds the entire area. The layers in the

Set Overcut to a positive number to enlarge the cut for an area. The dimension is in feet or meters. The drawing below illustrates an Overcut. The Overcut surrounds the entire area.

Overcut

The layers in the area can be either the size of the area or the size of the Overcut. To set a layer to the Overcut size, check the Include Overcut field for the layer on the Layers Tab. In the example above, the fill extends to the Overcut dimension and the slab does not.

The amount of backfill required can be found on the Area Summary report.
