Takeoff Continuous Length
Simply click on points along the line, or trace it by holding down the left mouse button while moving along the line. End the line by selecting Close Area/End Line from the Edit Menu or the Popup Menu

End the line by selecting Close Area/End Line from the Edit Menu or the Popup Menu. Close Area/End Line can also be assigned a shortcut key. By default this action is assigned to the Enter Key.
To record the length measurement into the Excel cell, press the green check mark or select Stop Takeoff command from the Edit Menu or the Popup Menu. Stop Takeoff can also be assigned a shortcut key. By default this action is assigned to the End key.
To close the takeoff window with recording changes into Excel, press the red X key, or select Exit (Cancel) from the File menu. This action can be assigned a shortcut key. By default this action is assigned to the Alt+F4 key.
While measuring continuous lengths, the following commands can be used:
