This command is used only when measuring areas or continuous lengths. For areas, this command draws a line segment from the last entered point to the first point, closing the area. The program is then ready to start a new area.
For continuous lengths, the command ends the line. The program is ready begin measuring a new line.
The Close Area/End Line command can also be assigned a shortcut key. By default this action is assigned to Return.
