This action closes the takeoff window and returns to Excel. The currently selected cell is updated with the takeoff information. This command can be accessed from the Edit Menu, the Popup Menu or by pressing the green checkmark button on the Measure toolbar.

The Stop Takeoff command can also be assigned a shortcut key. By default this action is assigned to the End key.
