While measuring, the last point entered can be deleted by selecting Delete Last Point from the Edit Menu or the Popup Menu. The Delete Last Point command can also be assigned a shortcut key. By default this action is assigned to Backspace.
When deleting the last point from section lengths, arcs, circles and rectangles, the entire object disappears when you delete the last point. To completely remove a circle or rectangle three points must be deleted. An arc requires deleting two points. The prompt on the status bar indicates the next takeoff action. For example after deleting two points of a circle, it will say "Select second point on circle."
