Annotation allows a comment regarding the takeoff to be placed on the drawing. After pressing the annotate button, or selecting Annotate from the Edit Menu or the Popup Menu, left click on the desired
Annotation allows a comment regarding the takeoff to be placed on the drawing. After pressing the annotate button,
or selecting Annotate from the Edit Menu or the Popup Menu, left click on the desired location of the upper left corner of the annotation. The annotation dialog will appear.

Type in the comment. The comment will be place on the takeoff as shown in the dialog, so add line breaks where desired. When finished entering and formating the comment, press the OK button and the annotation will appear on the takeoff.

Annotations can be deleted, edited and moved using select object. The color of the annotation will match the color of the current takeoff.
The Annotate command can also be assigned a shortcut key. By default this action is is assigned to Ctrl+Alt+N.
