Setting Scales

Scales are set using the scale dialog. There are two forms of the dialog, one for CAD drawings and one for all others.

Basic operation of both dialogs are the same. Use the radio buttons at the top to select English or Metric units. If English Units are selected, then choose between Architectural or Engineering scales.

There are three ways to set the scale:

• Press the Digitize button to set the scale from a known measurement on the drawing. This is the recommended method of setting the scale.
• Select the scale or drawing unit from the drop down list.
• Press the Manual button to enter the factor directly. This should be a method of last resort.
  
  Finally when The scale and factor are correct, press the OK button. To cancel without setting the scale, press the Cancel button.
