There are two setup settings that affect the way BidScreen XL operates when this button is pressed; Accept Single Drawings and Prompt for Scale on Open. With the default and recommended settings for these settings, BidScreen XL operates as follows.
After the Open button is pressed, the drawing will be displayed in the takeoff window. At this time the drawing can be rotated and de-skewed. The changed drawing can be saved. To accept the drawing for use, press the green check mark button.
To discard the drawing, press the red X button. 
If the drawing is accepted, the scale dialog will be displayed next. To defer setting the scale at this time, press the cancel button.
Otherwise. set the scale and press the OK button. 
The drawing will now be added to the drawing list and can be selected using either the drawing list or the select drawing button on the BidScreen XL Toolbar.
