Area type

This property applies to area elevations. There are four area types:

• Surface - surface areas have elevations associated with each corner. These elevations are used in modeling the surface.
• Basement - basement areas have elevations associated with each corner. These elevations are not used in modeling the surface. They are applied after the surface is modeled.
• Sub grade - areas have no elevations.
• Other - areas that have no elevations and do not impact calculations.
