Panning
Panning, or moving drawing view can be done several ways. Hold down Ctrl key on the keyboard. The cursor will change to a small hand. Left click the mouse and drag the drawing under the view window. T
Panning, or moving drawing view can be done several ways.
- Hold down Ctrl key on the keyboard. The cursor will change to a small hand.
Left click the mouse and drag the drawing under the view window. To stop panning, release the Ctrl key. The cursor will return to normal. - Turn on panning by clicking on the Pan button
on the Zoom Toolbar, Pan on the Zoom Menu, or pressing the shortcut key combination for pan. The cursor will change to a small hand.
Left click the mouse and drag the drawing under the view window.To stop panning click the Pan button again, click Zoom on the Zoom menu, again, press the shortcut key combination again, or click on Zoom and Pan Off on the Zoom Menu. The cursor will return to normal. - If the Scroll Bars are displayed on the Drawing View, use the scroll bars to position the drawing under the view window.
Note: As installed, there is no defined shortcut key combination for panning. See the section on programming shortcut key combinations to set a value.
