How do I set the scale on a drawing?

Click Load Drawing, pick the file, click OK; a message recommends autoscaling. Choose English or Metric, choose Architectural or Engineering, then click AutoScale: single-click the start and end of a known dimension on the drawing (typically the scale bar), enter the distance in decimal feet, and click OK. The scale factor displays.
