How are color-coded measurements stored in the workbook?

On the cell itself. A red comment is placed in the top right of every measurement cell; clicking the cell shows the takeoff type (TO Type) and scale on the BidScreen XL toolbar. Click the matching takeoff command (Count, Section Length, Continuous Length, or Area) to view the colored overlay.
