Year 1 of Full Serve is included with every perpetual license purchase. From year 2 it is required, not optional: an active Full Serve subscription is what keeps a licensed seat running. If Full Serve lapses, the seat stops functioning until it is renewed, at which point it starts working again.
Renew within twelve months of expiry and you simply pay the standard fee for the coming year, with no penalty and no back-billing for the period the seat sat unused. Past twelve months, a Full Serve Recovery Fee equal to one additional year applies. The full terms are on our terms page.
Annual rental (subscription) products include Full Serve in the rental price — you don't pay for it separately.
Industry-standard maintenance fees run 10-20% of the perpetual license cost per year. Vertigraph's $199/yr Full Serve on a $799 BidScreen XL perpetual works out to about 25% of the license cost — a bit above the typical range at the BidScreen XL price point, but only about 7% on the SiteWorx/OS perpetual ($2,999).
